The Iraqi-American Service Company that was formed in May
2003 is a partnership that consists of two well-established
corporations; consisting of The Eastern Company (Baghdad,
Iraq) and The AIM Group Incorporated (Texas, USA).
- The Eastern Company is
one of the largest Iraqi companies in the field of technical
representation and procurement. The company is committed
to working for the international business interests of
its
clients and to represent and promote their products and
services in Iraq. They currently represent or have an
agreement
with over fifteen well-known international companies. While
the latest conflict has affected all means of communication
to and from Iraq the Baghdad office is once again fully
functional and able to communicate via satellite phone,
fax and Internet. The Baghdad office has a full time staff
of over twenty-five Iraqi nationals who bring valuable

- The AIM Group Incorporated
has a twenty-year plus track record of providing services
to its clients on a worldwide basis. The company's clients
include some of the world's largest oil & gas producers
including Exxon-Mobil, Chevron-Texaco and Shell. In addition
the company has provided recruitment services to engineering
companies such as Fluor-Daniel, Halliburton, Technip,
ABB,
Techint and many others. The company maintains offices
in Houston, Texas, Calgary and Ottawa in Canada, Aberdeen,

Why the partnership was formed:
After twelve years of sanctions we are providing services
to companies wishing to be involved with re-building of Iraq.
The process to re-build Iraq needed a solution that provided
an understanding of Iraqi and Western business practices and
laws. Our partnership provides a solution to integrate Iraqi
companies and personnel into the reconstruction process.
